The Green Monsters

The drama heats up as some more information is revealed about Aki's returned boyfriend while it's apparently that Halu is lying to himself and others again. As Aki puts it, "He swings between toughness and fragileness". Though it looks as if the hockey is finally returning at the end, something happens that really brought Halu over the edge, and it wasn't the inevitable facedown between Halu and Aki's boyfriend.

Period 8

I have to say, the amount of blood coming from someone who was pushed down some escalators rivals some anime I've seen, but enough of that...

Here Halu formally says goodbye to Aki, but it's apparent his heart is not into it. It's good that Tomo and Youko are around to give some very good advice to Halu, lest he lets himself wander too far. Still, it's rather inevitable that he will make at least one last dash for Aki before this series is over.

Bad news for Yamato here as Yuri finds out the truth about him and breaks up with him. Of course, she runs off to the Green Monsters captain, so we have two couples breaking up in a short period of time.

As Tomo says, Halu has to always look cool. Tomo gives the great yet seemingly oxymoronic advice of losing your pride, but doing it with dignity. As such, Halu still has to do some self searching, though we have to see this in a future episode. As it is, what Halu says to Aki's boyfriend towards the end of the episode when Aki's boyfriend asks to talk to him was quite good. Truthful, without being insulting.

One of these days I'll start learning these people's names...
